These athleisure shorts have a retro vibe you can't help but love.  These shorts have the option for 2.5", 3.5" or 4.5" inseams, elastic waist or contoured waistband, and pockets or no pockets.  

You need 5/8 to 1 yard of athletic knit (depending on your size) and up to 48" of 1" elastic (if using the elastic waist option).  Stretch woven fabric is also acceptable but you might need to size up one size depending on your measurements for your selected size.
